How do you Enjoy the Winter months?
The amazing summers we have here in Sarnia leave us with snow-covered beaches and frozen waters in the winter months.
It’s a beautiful sight to see but not quite the warm and sunny weather we need to enjoy a day at the beach. We have lots of great activities to explore in the wintertime, check out a few ideas here:
Outdoor Activities
Sledding: Dust off your snowsuit & boots, grab your sled and head to one of our local parks to sled.
Skating: On the pond or at one of the local rinks, slide your skates on & don’t forget your hockey stick!
Pinery Provincial Park: It’s a winter wonderland at the Pinery and you can hike, sled, even sleep inside a yurt! Not sure what that is, check out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fX109KMZOo4
Indoor Activities
Stones & Bones Museum: This local museum in Downtown Sarnia has items to catch everyone’s interest… Dinosaurs, Minerals, Insects, Sharks, Wildlife, Fossils and much more! Dive in & learn about something new!
Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery: Explore the exciting exhibition “Lambton at War” before it’s too late! This exhibit is on until February 4!
Valley Ax Throwing: Targets & axes, need we say more?!
District Beta: Virtual reality gaming
😉 Weather the cold keeps you inside or gives you the energy to get outside, do something you love & try something new!
