"What is knob and tube wiring? And is it safe?"
How to spot it:
✅ Look up at the joist & you'll see a porcelain knob with the wire going through it
If purchasing a home with knob and tube wiring:
✅ Talk with your insurance company
✅ Some won't insure your home or may give you a deadline to remove it
✅ Talk to a good electrician
